Alice Peternell (nee Wilson), trained in Holland with Bert Rutten, 1988 - 1990, competed internationally on Young Rider teams, & then as a senior at Grand Prix with Wendelicht. Is a British Dressage National **Trainer. Current horses in competition are the Oldenburger stallion Surprise,[Ad.Med] Fan-Set,[Elem/Med] Apollo, Supreme,[Young horse classes].
Alice is married to Alexander Peternell who trained at Stal Schockermoler in Germany & also worked in Holland. He has ridden Advanced eventing including Burghley '09 and is currently listed as team member for World Games 2010 for SA.
He offers jump training for horse and /or rider.

AT STUD ....'Surprise' 8yr.old 16.2hh Oldenburg stallion by Royal Dance.
Surprise is a son of a graded stallion in both his sire & dam's pedigrees, including the world famous Donnerhall, Pik Bube & Rohdiamant- Rubenstein line.
Surprise has started his competition career successfully with an average of over 70%. He was highly placed in Young horse classes being 2nd. at the National Championships in the Panacur Young Dressage Horse of the Future class on a score of 87.2% in 2005. 

In 2006 he has won a Shearwater Young Horse qualifier on 82.22% and having won is the National Open Novice Dressage Champion at the National Winter Championships .

His first progeny, a colt foal, was overall Champion Foal at the British Dressage Breeding Championships in June 2005.
Just won Rhinegold National Young Dressage Horse Championship at Hickstead July'06
He won his Medium Regional Final in Feb.'08 qualifying for the National Winter Championships.
